Videla & Claudio Asprea
A gustina
and Claudio have been dance partners since 1997. They were invited to
perform at the most important tango events in Buenos Aires : « Megaexposicion
Tango » organized at the Palais de Glace - Buenos Aires- in September,
1997; and at the « First International Tango Fair » at the
Recoleta Cultural Center in Buenos Aires (Dec.97). Their versions of tangos
Gallo Ciego, El Flete, and Canaro en Paris, were recorded and aired on
the argentine channel « Solo Tango », and they appeared several
times on ATC Argentina Televisora Color-, a widely aired argentine
TV channel.
Agustina and Claudio were part in different tango shows with Néstor
Marconi Orchestra « Tango 2000 », in Bs.As.- ; with
the Sexteto Mayor (Mainz -Germany-, July 2003); with the Orchestra "Color
Tango" ("15 Jahre Tango" in Regensburg, Germany); with
Pablo Ziegler Quintet for New Tango (Orvieto Festival -Italy-) ; La Convencion
de San Telmo -Buenos Aires-, with Gabriel Reynal, Maria Volonté
and Alberto Cambarelli & Orchestra; with Alfredo Marcucci & Sexteto
Veritango (Germany &Portugal); Luis Borda Quartet (Germany); Cuarteto
Almagro (at the IV Word Tango Summit); with New York Tango Trio, and with
New York Tango Quartet (US); with Cuarteto Piazzolando (Viriato Theatre);
and many others.
Their
perfomances were also seen at the most important Milongas of Buenos Aires:
Club Almagro; Parakultural; Flores de Tango; Gricel; Regim; Centro Cultural
Torcuato Tasso; Salon Moreno; la Galeria del Tango; Dr. Jeckill; Porteño
y Bailarin; Club Belgrano (Cochabamba 444).
From
May to October 1998 they performed at the Tango Argentino Show, officialy
representing the Republic of Argentina at the Universal Lisboa Fair 1998
(Expo 98). They took part in many international tango festival,
f.ex.,: the Fourth Tango Summit Portugal 98- and the First
International Tango Festival in Vila do Conde Sep 2000-; Hannover
2001, and Singen 2002-Germany-; Nîmes 2000 et 2001 -France- ; Orvieto
2000 -Italy-.
They
have toured Europe several times, performing and teaching Austria,
France, Germany, Luxemboug, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Russia-
and a large number of cities in the United States New York, Washington,
San Francisco, Miami, etc.-.
